These are currently untested as all my printers are busy with a big project but they should work.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Update August 1, 2023</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>A few people have requested this so I've added more center rings.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>There are now center rings available for spools with an inner diameter between 40 and 95 mm. The 40 mm is so slim you may need to lower the extrusion width or use a 0.2 mm nozzle.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If any other size is required just leave a comment. Cheers.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This is a remix of the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.printables.com/model/507938-hydra-ams-universal-spool-adapter" rel="nofollow noopener">Hydra AMS - Universal Spool Adapter</a> but instead it has a solid core instead of openings for silica desiccant. It's a user requested remix for adding weights in the spool core instead of silica.</p><blockquote><p>The pictures below show the normal / desiccant version but it works the same.</p></blockquote><p>The Hydra AMS - Universal Spool Adapter is developed specifically for <a target="_blank" href="https://www.printables.com/model/392134-hydra-ams-enhanced-bambu-lab-ams" rel="nofollow noopener"><strong>Hydra AMS</strong></a> but will also work well for the standard Bambu Lab AMS. If you use very narrow spools with this however, Hydra AMS will work a lot better as the feeders are tilted back a little compared to stock.</p><p>One of the main benefits of the Hydra AMS is that it allows a wide variety of spool diameters, both small and large diameter spools as well as wider spools with a spool width up to 75 mm.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>But one issue remains - very narrow spools such as certain 250g sample spools and some 500g spools as well. Another issue is the more and more common cardboard spools, these are not ideal to be used in an AMS for a few reasons, cardboard debris, causing less grip on the front rollers and dirt inside the feeders and tubes. I usually recommend adding some electrical tape to the edge, it works well. But you can also use this new adapter I've developed. <i>It's compatible with spools up to 69 mm wide with Hydra AMS as it adds 6 mm to the total spool width.</i></p><p>I ordered a bunch of odd sized spools just to develop this mod as it's often requested.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>So what makes this different from other spool adapters?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Features</strong></p><ul><li>It adds weight to the spool, reducing the chance of the spool jumping up and jamming.</li><li>You can fill it to add weight to the spool.</li><li>It's <i>Universal</i>, just print a couple of center rings matching the inner diameter of the spool you're using.</li><li>It allows printing of narrow 250g sample spools and narrow 500g spools that would normally jam against the clear cover of the AMS feeder.</li><li>You can use it with cardboard spools as a raised spool edge around it. As the spool diameter of this is 201 mm, it's a little larger than most cardboard spools so it would run on the printed part in the AMS instead of the actual cardboard rim.</li></ul><p><strong>What to Print</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Print the following parts in the direction I have set them, no supports are needed:</p><ul><li>hydra-ams-universal-spool-adapter-hex-bottom-solid.3mf</li><li>hydra-ams-universal-spool-adapter-hex-top-solid.3mf</li><li>hydra-ams-universal-spool-adapter-lid-solid.3mf</li></ul><blockquote><p><i>(You can use the Voronoi or Solid spool types instead if you prefer)</i></p></blockquote><p>Next, measure the inner diameter of the spool you are using and print a couple of the center rings matching that diameter, rounded down to the nearest millimeter.</p><p>For example, if your spool's inner diameter is 52.3 mm, print two of these:</p><ul><li>hydra-ams-52mm-center-ring.3mf</li></ul><p>The center rings make sure the spool is perfectly centered and aligned on the <i>Universal Spool Adapter</i>. There are center rings for spools with a spool center diameter between 42 and 73 mm, currently.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Also, if you have a very narrow spool (less than around 40 mm) you should use the spool spacers to widen the track so it does not hit the clear cover of the AMS front feeder. <p>A portable cable organizer which is setup as an <strong>easy print-in-place</strong> and includes a knob on the side for conveniently winding up the cable when you're ready to pack it away.</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/76375/2023-09-13_fd01d80e216de.gif"></figure><p>This model is an easy print that requires no supports, and <strong>three different sizes are provided </strong>to accommodate cables of different lengths.  If you're not sure which to choose, I'd recommend starting with the “medium” size.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>After printing, you'll want to place the cable within the groove at its halfway point, close the lid (which is intentionally designed to close tightly), <strong>wind up the cord clockwise</strong> using the handle, and then extend by simply <strong>grabbing the cable by both ends</strong>.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i>Update 2023-09-13:</i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Alternative <strong>smooth-sided versions</strong> of all three sizes have now been added, and also the handle design was slightly adjusted to add a small fillet and chamfer to decrease the bridge distance. <p>Quick print of a PTFE clip which goes on the cable chain. Prevents the tube hitting the top glass or ams etc.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Printer 0.2 layer heigh with 3 walls. Suggest printing it with PETG at minimum.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>It's designed to be tight fit. I found other designs to have either the PTFE cut out too large and the tube would come out or the lips holding the cable chain to be too small, and it clips off.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To fit it, insert the top first onto the cable chain.</p>

<p>I created this suspended hand artwork using bridges for the strings. You don't need any supports. <br><br>It prints in 0.2mm layer height and wall generator set to Arachne in Bambu Studio. <br><br>The easiest way to print in multicolor is to use the full model and apply the color you want for the strings on the entire model and then apply the other colors to the structure and the hand.<br><br></p>

Deep beneath the cold, white armor, a flicker of individuality and conscience burned within. This spark of humanity grew more pronounced as he questioned the morality of his actions while enforcing the Empire's oppressive rule.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>TK-B00's moment of reckoning came during a pivotal mission on the forest moon of Endor. Amidst the chaos of the Battle of Endor, witnessing the destruction of the second Death Star and the Ewok rebellion, he found himself at a crossroads. He chose to defy orders, refusing to fire upon the Rebel Alliance. His rebellion was met with severe consequences - he was gravely injured and left behind by his comrades.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In his moment of vulnerability, TK-B00's thoughts turned to the countless lives he had taken and the lives he had saved by turning away from the Empire's dark path. With his last breath, he whispered a plea for redemption, hoping for a chance to make amends. In that moment, the Force responded, granting him a chance to find redemption in the afterlife.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>TK-B00 became a wandering spirit, a guardian of the light, unburdened by the confines of his stormtrooper armor. No longer bound by the rigid conformity of the Empire, he dedicated himself to helping those in need, standing up against oppression and tyranny across the galaxy.
