Welcome to The Random Workbench! I’m a Software Engineer with a passion for 3D printing, electronics, and technical tinkering. This profile is home to the "random" variety of projects that cross my bench, from random tent parts to mechanical designs like my articulating filament grabber.
I focus on high-quality, practical designs and try to share the build process through livestreams when I remember. If it involves problem-solving, custom fabrication, or mechanical optimization, you'll find it here. Let’s build something cool.
Happy Printing!

This came about as most things do. I needed a way to get my Filaments down from the new shelf I put up, but for the filaments close to the wall, I didn't have a direct way to access them with a normal pole filament grabber, so I decided to design one that will allow me to adjust the angles to have just the right angle I need to get them down without the awkward angles or using a stool. This is my first real build of something practical to print and to share. Let me know what you think.

This is my first Model I created 100% myself that I could see a shared use for. I am still new to 3d modeling and 3D printing so be kind. I am learning.
