Having reviewed the BL blog about the upcoming firmware changes… I personally will still be recommending their printers. Why, some of you might ask? The reason is simple, I’m more interested in a safe, secure printer, that just works. I have no interest in adjusting/upgrading my P1S, I just want it to print so I can concentrate on the models and enjoyment these bring me. These Printers are the 3D Printer equivalent to Apple/Tesla products, people should expect them to be walled off to a degree. What are your thoughts?

Happy New Year Everyone! I hope you've all had a great holiday and enjoyed some quiet time. I've spent my time away from the computer so have no new models to share. I'm still working on the Hulk, he's almost there, but the legs look too thin and long, so once I'm happy I'll upload him.

Thor has landed! Lightening doesn't strike twice, but look out for his rugged storage box too!

This took me far longer to get ready for publishing than I would have liked, but all in all, I'm pleased with the results. I'm not 100% convinced on the Dark red for the main colour, so if you find a better red filament for this, be sure to let me know!

Currently working on the Dummy 13 Iron Man costume, however, I’m struggling to find the correct red. I’ve attempted parts printed from PLA Matte Scarlet/Dark Red, PLA Sparkle Red, and PLA Silk+ Red… none of which Im happy with. I’ve tried to stick to using Bambu Labs for the most part, primarily due to my printer being sat in a basement at a humidity level between 70-99%, and the AMS does a fantastic job keeping everything dry. I’m now looking at 3rd party filaments… any suggestions?

The results are in! With almost 50% of the vote, you elected for Ironman to be the next costume I release… which typically is the one that is furthest from being ready! In second place with a third of the vote was Thor, and bringing up the rear with only 20% was The Hulk. This will be the order that I work on them now, with the aim to have them all released in time for Christmas, although I appreciate that doesn’t give a lot of time for printing. Unfortunately, the day job gets in the way!
