I designed this insert while working on a router table setup a few days ago. I wanted a clean, flush fit for the Makita DRT50 and an easy, repeatable way to install it. After a few test runs and tweaks, I ended up with this insert and the two-part template system. It worked great for my build, and I'm happy to share it here so others can get the same clean result with minimal hassle.
