This is a part of an series of Ams fixes that i have designed which can complement each other when used together. I do suggest you install all my fixes together for the 0ptimal effect to help your filament travel properly across the entire system which in turn can help improve, reduce or remove any potential Ams errors.&nbsp;I have grouped all fixes into their respective Collection for ease of searching what to install.&nbsp;V2 Collection are improvements done on the shortcoming of V1 Collection. Feel free to try V2 Collection and if it doesn't work properly then you can try the V1 Collection. You can easily find each of the Collection by clicking on the Collections tab on my profile.&nbsp;Unfortunately there isn't a single fix that can 100% work for everyone. What works for others, may not work for you but my fixes is definately a great place to start and have worked for majority of the users. My fixes are precisely measured then modelled. V2 Ams Buffer Ptfe Right Guide Mount Fix will correct and maintain a nearly 100% straight line when the Ptfe tube exit the Ams buffer to move into the printer extruder. Its design is accurately measured to let the Ptfe tube be as level as possible at the Ams buffer to allow the most smooth, least amount of friction and pressure for the proper angle to go into the extruder thus greatly reducing the possibility of an Failed To Retract Filament error or similar errors from popping up.&nbsp;&nbsp;Who needs this fix? I believe that anyone with a Ams would benefit from this fix / enhancement regardless of do you have any problem or errors with the Ams / Printer. This will allow your Ptfe tube to be nearly 100% straight (laser and manually measured) when it enter or exit the Ams Buffer. In theory, there are only advantages and benefits after installing. There are literally no disadvantage to this fix.&nbsp;&nbsp;Main Difference with the previous model <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/58543#profileId-60340" rel="nofollow noopener">Ams Buffer Ptfe Right Guide Mount Fix</a><ol><li>Completely New Design</li><li>Will not affect your warranty as its reversible</li><li>Extremely ez installation yet still precise and accurate</li><li>Very well supported with an clever groove on the fix pushing and stabilizing the fix onto the rear panel with the tension by lock clip below the cable connector</li><li>Precise measurement to hold Ptfe tube straight for reduced friction of filament moving through. See installation video how i casually just throw a spirit measure after install and its just levelled itself.</li><li>Greatly help to reduce Ptfe wear and tear with its small surface contact</li><li>Friction is further reduced when the Ptfe move through the fix, another benefit of its small contact area</li><li>Use it with or without the rear spool holder without affecting its alignment</li><li>No screws needed for the install</li><li>No possibility for wrong installation with its new design</li><li>Uses less than 6 gram of filament</li><li>Will not work if you are using the Multi Ams Hub. (If you are using the Ams Hub for the Mini as an splitter it is ok and will work properly for you)</li></ol>&nbsp;&nbsp;Why choose this fix?Surely there are similar fixes in the market but most of them are merely holders instead of proper fixes, I will explain why.&nbsp;Current offerings have problems like complicated installation, an flimsy clip on design with totally no support and a really huge hole for the Ptfe to pass through offering 0 proper alignment at all, poor or non existent support, bulky, uses screws, some cannot be used with rear spool holder and most of them create wear due to long travel which the Ptfe have to go through. Many of the fixes that doesn't even try to align the Ptfe travel properly at all&nbsp;So this V2 solved all of these issue with a tiny 5.5grAms of Filament.&nbsp;Remember like all our other fixes, We don't want any movement to pass through filament as it wears them down and if we really have to then i made the contact surface small so it will reduce the wear drastically.&nbsp;Once again as with all my fixes, this is very precisely measured and designed. I have taken measurements down to 0.10 degree (measuring the outgoing angle out of the buffer) despite stating this fix as nearly 100% straight because there could be as small as maybe below 1mm deviations with every single machine due mass production.&nbsp;The fix will hold the Ptfe Tube level with the Ams Buffer to allow the filament to pass through with a smooth movement with the least amount of friction.&nbsp;&nbsp;<h2>Prerequisites</h2>Before install, Please check if your connector looks like this. Most of us should have this 90 degree connector version that connect to the printer. Bends or pressure on the shape of the Ptfe tube in turn creates a lot of friction, as the Printer and Ams is equipped with multiple sensors, these friction will cause filament not passing through the Ams to the printer smoothly and thus causing the Ams Failed To Retract Filament Error and similarly related errors.&nbsp;&nbsp;So what is the possible solution to the problem? Firstly we need to reduce friction for filament passing through Ptfe tubes? Simple! If we optimise the angle of the Ptfe it will allow the filament to enter and go through the Ams buffer with the least amount of friction and pressure.&nbsp;&nbsp;What do i need in additional to installing this printed fix part? Nothing.&nbsp;<h2>Additional Notes</h2>The error itself is complicated and non definitive. Whatever cause the error today might not be the same area that cause the error again, same with person A and Person B setup, as the error itself is mainly due to tension with friction triggering the sensors in the machine.&nbsp;I would suggest you download and try and install all my fixes together for the proper effect as together they will ensure a smooth delivery of the filament with much lesser friction (read write ups) and hopefully that will help and reduce or resolve the error. If you use only one or 2 of the fixes the error could still happen as there are still other area might still be causing excessive friction.&nbsp;

“Feeder Saver” - The AMS is an engineering marvel. However, the infamous feeder “button”, AKA Feed Funnel, has caused much concern when it comes to longevity. Simply put, it will wear on the edges of the feeder filament entry forcing a potentioally expensive replacement of the AMS First Stage Feeder. My AMS “Feeder Saver” will not only protect you from this potentially expensive reality, it will also properly align the filament to reduce the likelihood of feed and pullback errors.
