Hey everyone! 👋
I’ve been working on a new modular setup for the past week and just finally got it uploaded to MakerWorld. It’s called the OmniMount Creator Rig, specifically designed around the Luna Ultra, but it works awesome for multi-device setups (smartphones, action cams, pocket gimbals, etc.).
If you do any mobile vlogging, run-and-gun shooting, or just need a solid desktop workstation for streaming/filming, check it out!
Here’s a quick breakdown of what it features:
Mechanical Quick-Release System: Features a spring-loaded locking pin mechanism so you can slide your camera/phone mount in and out securely without worrying about it falling off.
Tons of Mounting Points: Built-in triple cold shoe slots across the top bar to easily throw on an LED panel, a wireless mic receiver, or a tiny monitor.
Custom Railing System: I included a specific slide-in dovetail rail profile. If you like designing your own gear in CAD, you can easily model custom adapters (like SSD holders or battery packs) to slide straight onto the frame.

Magnet Mount Slots: I added small 10x5mm rectangular cutouts on the top curve and the handle extensions. You can drop 10x5mm neodymium magnets in there to snap on quick-swap magnetic accessories.
Textured Sleeves & Handles: You can either print the low-profile integrated frame grips (files include 12 different geometric texture styles) or print the heavy-duty external outrigger handles if you want maximum stability for handheld pans.
Two Framework Versions: There’s a Fixed Version that locks tightly using standard M3 screws, and a toolless Easy-Disassemble Version that completely breaks down flat so you can chuck it into a backpack.
Hardware needed (BOM):
Black PLA (or PETG/ASA if you do a lot of rugged outdoor filming).
Standard 1/4" heat-set brass threaded inserts (for the tripod and side mount connection points).
Standard 1/4" camera thumb screws (17-18mm long work best for the outrigger handles).
M3 screws (only if you're building the fixed variant).
10x5mm magnets (optional, for the quick-snap mounting zones).
The tolerances are dialed in pretty well on my printer, and I have been printing it and adjusting it, but let me know how the fitment feels on yours. It features precision drop-in charging slots for the Insta360 Luna Ultra and Mic Pro, completely hidden internal cable management, snap-fit magnetic panels (front and back), and magnetically posable arms so you can change up his expressions!
