#Newmodel The Non-Slip Vertical Stand for AMS Lite now includes two optional designs. Both integrate the rubber pads from the original AMS Lite stand! Plate 1 (Short) - Minimum overall height for optimal cable/shelf clearance; ideal for high shelf placement. Plate 2 (Tall) - Ideal for adding spool enclosures to the AMS lite (3D CAD tested for clearance with the Ultimate Filament Spool Enclosure)

WAIT! DON'T THROW OUT YOUR AMS LITE STAND. Save the rubber feet on the bottom of the AMS Lite stand because they fit perfectly with this new vertical stand design! Vertical AMS stands are perfect for small spaces but they often feel less stable because of the smaller footprint and smooth plastic. This can be quite risky, particularly if the AMS is standing on a shelf above the printer. NO tape, no glue, no additional purchases. Print the 'Non-Slip Vertical Stand for AMS Lite'.

#magnets #Printinplace #Tools Print-in-place Magnet Tip: Wall thickness matters. For something like the Button Magnet Tool Holder I designed for my pliers and snips (nippers?), I wanted the magnet to stick stronger to the wall panel than the tool. That way when I grab the tool, the magnet won't come off with it. For my design, I added a 0.6mm (0.2x3 layers) material thickness on the wall panel side of the magnet and on the tool side I offset the outer surface by >2.5mm. This extra distance reduces the magnetic pull just enough to still hold the tool firmly, but release the tool without dragging the magnet with it. I 3D print a lot for work as an Industrial Designer, and I finally got a printer for my personal use. This filament swatch holder is my first project. I use the sliding carousel method without requiring extra hardware. I wanted to test the fine printing quality and texture pei plate of the Bambu Lab A1. The quality turned out amazing.
