I have a VEVOR Hydroponic Growing System and my one complaint about it is the non-standard size of the soil plugs needed (and none come with the unit), so I modified the design of the plug cage to hold a standard 23mm x 23mm x 40mm grow plug. I created a ringed shelf 2/3 down inside the cage to allow the plugs to sit low enough to be under the flow of water but high enough in the pod to have full light. You may also be allow certain conical plugs, like the AeroGarden plugs, to be used).
