I got tired of thermal cameras showing blurry blobs... so I built one that overlays heat on a real camera feed.
Powered by an ESP32, with selectable sensing modes, threshold controls, manual adjustment, distance/parallax correction, and phone capture for images/videos.

added a modifier to make the last part of the legs hollow and add some steel shot for weight / sturdyness. Next level would be doing it in a hard TPU with steel shot but this is good enough.
