This started as a flow problem, not a "let's avoid paper filters" project. MSpa's built-in pump isn't the strongest, so I designed the basket deliberately slim — short flow path, less resistance, less strain on the pump. The bottom is fully sealed too (no drain holes), which forces water through the sides instead of straight through, keeps long hair from clogging things fast, and means dirty water stays in the basket when you lift it out instead of sloshing back into your tub. Two printed parts, ABS, standard filter balls you can grab almost anywhere. No specialty parts to hunt down. Been running mine in my own MSpa Oslo since spring — pulled it apart, cleaned it, reassembled it more times than I can count, zero flow errors.
