This is the coolest thing I've printed so far. A few others had some of the same build questions I had, so I thought I'd share some answers.
The inside diameter of the pot is 104mm and most of the original model maker's pots are 104mm - including the one I used.
The ball joints (located on the same plate as the stems) go in-between the two discs. The screws hold the discs and ball joints together. (pic one)
When you're ready to place it in a pot, face the screw heads down and insert your stems into the side with the lip (pic 2). Then put the whole thing into the pot, lip facing up (pic 3).

I added a negative part in the middle and changed the remaining infill to make this sink in an aquarium. Looks lovely.

Bumped up the infill so that they'll sink, and they are just so cute. Thanks!

Trusted the process and it came out fine. Will be trying some other greens and the larger model soon!
