I'm a late 50's bioinformaticist and maker. I teach graduate bioinformatics online at UMGC, and primarily use 3D printing as a way to do cosplay. Lots of electronics (Thanks, Adafruit!) work goes into some of it as well.

I recently got into live music and discovered these little synths called Volcas by Korg. Drum boxes, synths, samplers, many different models, all in the same form factor. I didn't think I would get more than 2 so the original case design was perfect. Nope. These things are like candy, and nobody I know that uses them sticks with just one. So I modified the case to be expandable - infinitely, although it's not practical to go beyond a 2x3 setup for a total of 6 Volcas in one case.

Holy cow is this one hit with our cats! Printed perfectly, assembled perfectly, and it just plain works. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

An easy print, and absolutely zero problems in assembly. I did have to kind of cant the button a little bit to get it over the lock bar, but there were no issues with sticking as other reviewers has mentioned. 100% perfect.

Is anyone else tired of the endless MQTT errors? It seems like Bambu cannot synchronize their updates to make sure that everything works consistently. I have to force quit and re-launch the app on my iPad every time I want to see the print progress now.
Are you seeing MQTT errors when checking on your printer through the app?

I printed this in PLA and it seems just fine. Great work and thank you to the design designer!

These are an absolute delight. My wife has taken to using them whenever and wherever appropriate, see image.

Absolutely perfect print. I only complaint is that there is no easy way to remove the battery from the main unit to recharge it without disassembly. I’m sure the designer could fix this, but it’s not that big of a deal in the long run.

Everything is fine except the infill in the numbers is a bit spotty. it’s barely noticeable as long as you’re more than 3 feet away

Takes a bit longer to print color but so worth it! I printed the 5 slot version because of the sales…

A raccoon managed to destroy the wooden front panel on our Birdfy, so I was excited to see that there was already a great set of models for replacement parts. Amazingly well designed, this part is far better than the original. I printed it in PETG since it is an outdoor part.

My wife and I bought a house 6 years ago, and the flippers did a great job on almost everything. The vents they installed were awful and couldn't be opened or closed. So, to solve this problem, I introduce the Simple Vent System.

Printed great. if your mounting screws don’t have a broad head you may want to consider using a washer.

Seed starting is never easy, but it's better with one of those little home hydroponics setups you can buy almost anywhere. Problem is, you still need to buy consumables like medium, plant pods, and seeds! Well, we can't print medium (yet), but now you can print the pods to hold the medium and the seed! As a bonus, I designed a cap that you can put on wells you aren't using to help prevent evaporation.
