Love it! removing the supports was a delicate task but the end result looks amazing. Thanks & Javid Shah.

Nice and easy print. Heads up, it prints upside down so don’t be alarmed if you initially don’t see the writing. Printed in PETG it actually turned our very nice.

i opted to print in TOU. printed nicely and it works fine. included room for magsafe magnets is a nice touch. i used black filament and the texts in the back are not visible. i recommend lighter colours. thanks for the model.

i printed it in PETG. it fit the can well but was a bit snug so I was worried it will break when removing (it didn’t). PLA is a little more flexible than PEtG so I am going to reprint in PLA next. It’s a great model. thanks OP!

it’s a tad loose for 18mm baltic birch ply but the pluwood sizes do wary slightly so I count that as expected. works well. Thanks OP.

printed quick and nice. modified the profile to print in two colors (one object at a time so no filament waste)

Nice model. Fits my Makita rails and the router very well. I recommend using a different infill either cross hatch or gyroid for better finish. I also had a hard time with removing the supports inside the model. in some parts it can’t be avoided but turning the model upright 90 degrees may reduce some support. i will experiment with that next. overall happy with the results. thanks for posting this.

my printed decided to drag the initial calibration line into the model but that has nothing to do with the profile or the model and was easily fixed (see the pic) so I consider this a successful print. The clamp is chunky and useful eventually it will be used to hold my sharpening sheets and it’s more than adequate for the job. Thanks

love the design. printed well. it’s a bit stiff on closing and very stiff on opening. doesn’t affect my specific use. printed in PETG-HF

Thanks for the model OP. it’s a neat design. I need your help a bit. i am having trouble screwing the lid. it won’t go in easily. the threads printed fine but I am bot familiar with this shape of thread it looks like there are 3 spirals. Can you please confirm if this is how you expected it to print? the filament I am using is PETG-HF, it’s dry and caliberated as well.
thanks and regards,
Mak

fantastic model love it! as others said the support on the tail needs improvement. it is not just and adhision issue as I am using a freshly washed bed, the tree support is not the best choice for an an area where there is minimal contact and a large printed piece will rely on a small support. one fix can be increase the support thinckness. not sure if modifiers can be used to change the support just for thr tail. will try it later myself.
any how, thanks OP for a fantastic model. ps I ended up printing thr tail separately using regular support and glueing it to the model with thr failed tail (2nc picture) so at least didn’t loose the model completely.

Printed easy and fits most my spools. Printed in PETG Transparent so I can see the colour of the beeds easier. a bit of a tight fit for the lid but not really problematic.

had to resize to fit my 10cm glass shower door but it’s working fine for a few weeks so far. I used PETG to increase the life of the hook.

Printed fine with PETG-HF and fits my Mastercraft calipers well. In theroy all should be fine but in practce re-inserting the thin sheet requires me to remove the battery cap. Still a useful tool since at least I don’t have to remove the entire battery. Thanks.
Edit: bumping this up to 5*. Turned out my battery was swollen preventing the tool to get in. Switched to a new battery and now I can slip the tool in - be it with some difficulty. Nevertheless It works.

Nice little print. i like this profile because of limited supports. I recommend using traditional aupports instead of tree though. it gives better results for short supports than the tree one. never the less it was not too bad removing the supports and with aome minimal sanding I eneded up with a decent sorface printing in PETG-HF.
