I also just got a Gen 2 M12 right angle die grinder and was trying to decide what to do with my older Gen 1. Separately, I was pondering an extra M18 trim router for an always ready perfectly set 1/8" roundover bit, since I seem to need one on every woodworking project. This model solved both of those! This was my first print with the new Polymaker HT-PLA-GF with higher temp resistance. This seemed like the perfect test project for the new filament. It was tough to get the threads started against each other due to the filament's rough finish and very tight tolerances. Once started, it took a good 10 minutes of working them back and forth to get full travel of both rings. After test fitting, I pulled them apart for the recommended 30-minute annealing to maximize heat resistance. After cooling, the parts were ready for final assembly. I'm loving my new "M12 right angle trim router" and it's already putting in work on a current project. Wish I could boost it more than twice! Thank you!
