This idea was born from a story shared by my neighbor, a kind lady of Eastern origin. She told me that, as a child, she owned a small figurine of a reclining Maneki Neko without its paw raised wearing a peaceful, almost dreamy and carefree expression. According to her, that figure symbolized the "here and now" a state of full presence in the moment, FULL STORY ON MY PROJECT
