I needed to connect my garden hose to my faucet. I couldn't find an adapter so I made one. This made me go down the rabbit hole of thread standards and sizes and where real-world usages deviate from the standards. I wanted to attach/detach my adapter without tools so I made different grips. I packaged this in a way you can understand when all you have is a set of calipers.
