Hello,
I am trying to print jewelry using Silk PLA+ on a Smooth PEI plate, but I'm having some issues with the first layer/bottom surface and visible print lines.
The Problems:
- Gaps on the bottom: The bottom surface sometimes has small holes or gaps between the lines (it doesn't look like a solid, smooth sheet).
- Visible print lines: While the top surface looks okay, the bottom surface shows very distinct print lines instead of a flawless, shiny finish.
Since I am making jewelry, the bottom surface needs to look as perfect and smooth as possible.
I have attached a screenshot of my current slicer settings. What adjustments should I make to fix these gaps and get a perfectly fused, smooth bottom layer with Silk+ PLA?
Setup Details:
- Printer: Bambu Lab A1 with AMS Lite
- Filament: Silk+ PLA (Flow ratio filament 0.95)
- Build Plate: Smooth PEI
Thanks in advance for the help!(Edited)
