Thanks to all who liked and supported my <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/407405" rel="nofollow noopener">first version of 608 Roller Bearing</a>, I was inspired to design new and better 3D printed 608 roller bearing! Unlike my first version which relies on low friction, I wanted to design a rolling 608 bearing with a real mechanical bearing principle. So after hours in front of the CAD, printing, testing, and all over again here it is. As my previous model, this one follows the same O.L.S. Design - Optimal tolerances for Low friction and Stability.&nbsp;Printing tips:It is important to use the provided print profile. It was carefully tailored together with the model to challenge the low tolerances.&nbsp;Post-processing:To break up the bearing and any micro adhesions push the cage and the rollers a couple of times alongside the bearing axis, then roll the outer ring for a minute.&nbsp;Let the rolling begin!&nbsp;If you need a spool roller, you can check the <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/models/488060" rel="nofollow noopener">Ultimate Spool Roller for 608 bearings</a>. <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/@jedipiehut" rel="nofollow noopener">JediPieHut&#39;s</a> simple and sleek design is specially designed for these bearings, for which I thank him!&nbsp;P.S. How much filament remains on your spool ? 200 or 400 g ? &nbsp;Simply use this perfectly calibrated meter to know the exact number of remaining filament. A key tag in a minimalist design. Dimensions: height 3 mm, width 22 mm, length 51 mm. Or height 0.118 inches, width 0.866 inches, length 2.008 inches.&nbsp;Can be made in different colors for interesting color combinations.&nbsp;The text you need should be added separately in the slicer, there is a separate button for that. <figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/752737/2024-03-23_a36aed706678a.png"></figure>If you don't have AMS, you will have to make letters on the backing!&nbsp;I would appreciate it if you could provide your print profiles and support this project!
