These are my new go-to for in-spool desiccant holders. I love the design (a lid for the desiccant AND a way to lock it into place inside the spool) no more desiccant holders shattering on the ground!

Scan the World does a great job finding really cool historical objects for 3d enthusiasts to print – I simply downloaded their file and tinkered with the print settings. Mine came out alright – see the picture – but further tinkering is probably required.

The profile has some issues — I should have swapped the support to tree supports or done something to make their removal easier — but the gorillas were fun and my kiddos loved them. Passes the kid test, so 5 stars.
it would be cool to have the head be able to move — perhaps in the future as you keep developing your craft?

Was a little worried that my printer would struggle (just cleaned a clog and didn’t trust anything to print right) so I watched this print like a hawk. Came out really well. Excellent profile to get me comfortable printing again.

Exactly what I wanted. I bought some wet palette paper and then printed this one to match the size (13 cm x 18 cm are the actual measurements, although the bag says it’s 15x20). Great work!

Used this interior/hinge instead of the original — my kids adored it. Any ideas on how to make the hinge stay in?
