I just got my P1S in April 2026. And then an X2D. I'm excited to see what useful things I can make as well as learn modeling to make some advertising swag,

My niece is very talented and creative. She shares my enthusiasm for halloween and scary stuff. She sent me this teddy bear with a jack o' lantern head for Christmas and I thought it would be fun to make a model of it. This is my first model from "scratch"

This will sound like I'm nuts, but I'm having issues with the AMS and filament Identification. I shut everything off and started from scratch. The AMS did it's thing, and on the computer, I selected "sync" and it showed the correct filament in each location. I was trying to print a duck and I had brown, orange, yellow and white, all PLA. When I hit "sync" it wanted to make the whole duck brown (instead of his glasses) I finally got that to work, or so I thought. Even when it looks right in that dialogue pane, and when I slice it.. When it is sending to the printer, it shows the yellow as being PTEG and I can't change it. It started printing the whole duck in orange instead of yellow. It's Bambu brand filament and it has the RF ID tag on it. It's very confusing and frustrating. Pictures to follow, I promise.
