I've curated several different voices for this guitar, each with a unique appeal. At https://k7rhy.app/relay, I explain each of them, provide suggestions on which pickups to buy, and give you a control wiring guide. I am particularly fond of the “Lipstick” voice that uses a lipstick pickup alongside two warm humbuckers as a tone shaper. You can learn about it at https://k7rhy.app/relay/voicings/lipstick

This is a DYI guitar platform that I’m calling the Relay Flex platform. The three print profiles that make up the printable components of this guitar are the culmination of 6 months of design, experimentation, and testing. You can see the complete build instructions at https://k7rhy.app/relay/body.
This model is for a fully-playable, professional quality electric guitar.

Great design. Surface quality is amazing. I printed the body in PLA-CF and the core in PA6-CF. I needed to keep temps low to prevent sagging on the steep overhangs, but they still needed some sanding.
For the PLA-CF I used ASA for supports. There was no good way to support the core cavity for the metal stiffening plate. On the first core segment is sagged badly. For the second one I filled it with ASA but the ASA wasn't sticky enough so I had to clear it mid-print to save the part. Regardless, that's a minor issue overall. The looks are amazing.

It printed well and it removes the filament well when it's not sticking, but it feel apart when the filament was hard to remove. I don't really need a tool when it's already easy to get it off.

I printed in PLA and it worked great. Good quality print.

Printed in PET and it worked great even without supports (like it's set in the profile). I was convinced it was going to fall, but it didn't.

I'd have liked the top layer color to be thicker for better contrast when printing a light color over a dark one.
