On the way back, 2 of A1miniAustria's Benchys got caught in a storm, dragging them far south. After the storm, an unknown peace of land was discovered near the benchys, apparently called Brazil. So here's the plan to #Renew MakerWorld 1. Bring the OG hashtags back! Stuff like #Rate My Setup has over 300 posts and really made the community feel alive, so why not do more of that? #Crazy Reviews also got over 300 posts, also #Daily Dose of Printer Memes and #Milestone which even got 600. Post more stuff on that! 2. New Hashtags and new ideas Create new hashtags if you got a good idea for anything, for example a printing challenge or something, so we can have fun here! You can also create initiatives like #Renew MakerWorld now or like the #Bambumerch thing we had like a year ago. 3.Post daily and comment actively Many are already doing so (I must admit I'mnot doing it myself) and it makes the community much more lively. But don't just post about the last model you printed, but like about something that happened while printing, a new milestone or something on a hashtag like #Crazy Reviews or #Rate My Setup, as that's what we want to see here. Things like #Qotd are amazing for that! #Renew MakerWorld So 2 Months ago, I scrolled down the community page for a while and posted it to show what trash you get there nowadays because everything was just crowdfunding, new model advertising and so on. @MakerWorld ended up responding to that post, saying they'd take a look at feed experiences and work on improvements. 2 Months later, today, I did it again. NOTHING CHANGED! The only posts I saw that weren't advertising any models/crowdfunding were posts of people leaving this place! And I understand them completely. If Makerworld keeps ignoring their own community, I'll leave too. For sure. All the OGs are gone. Just gone. And every day, more are leaving this community WITH GOOD REASON. And it isn't as if makerworld didn't knew. They know. We have tried to tell them countless times what we don't like and what we want. And what was the response? NOTHING! Like why don't they care about the community at all, just letting it die? Isn't a strong community good for a company like @BambuLab? Therefore I ask makerworld to listen to what their community is saying, rather than ignoring it.
