Briiiiinnnnnng. For the Yip Yips, there are 2 files, one for the main body and one for the antennas. You can size it up or down. May need a little coaxing into the slots. I usually print the antenna on a raft with supports if making it small. Body can print in place with no supports. These Easter eggs are larger than normal. Actually, they are about the size on an emu egg! I would suggest that you choose 1-3 eggs and display them together. Adding extra eggs printed at varying scales can also look very nice. I have successfully tested them down to 25% scale with the exception of the Lattice Egg. The lattice is a retraction nightmare at smaller sizes. They should scale upwards without issue as well, but beware - they are pretty large already!&nbsp;Check out my other holiday models <a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/u/1360890085/collections/23941" rel="nofollow noopener">here</a>.&nbsp;Print SettingsBecause of the size, these eggs take a while to print. I found that I could speed up that process by limiting infill to critical areas only. This lamp is a cheap knock-off of ... er, rather ... is a beautiful design inspired by the popular Voronoi Lamp (<a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:584714" rel="nofollow">http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:584714</a>). All of the overhanging surfaces are at exactly 45 degrees, so it prints without supports, bridges or a lot of drama.<h3>Instructions</h3>Update: I've added a solid version of the object (crinklelamp_solid.stl) which may be easier to slice.Printed in natural (clear) PLA with 0.2mm layers. It prints upside-down, from top to bottom. The wall thickness is specifically set for printing with exactly 2 line widths with a 0.4mm nozzle. Therefore, scaling this lamp may produce unpredictable slicing results.Originally, I sliced this with Slic3r 1.1.7, but it produced a tremendous number of unneeded traverse moves. The version shown was sliced with Simplify3D and printed without incident.Edit: According to UserUnrelated in his make (<a href="/make:119553" rel="nofollow">http://www.thingiverse.com/make:119553</a>), the newest version of Slic3r (1.2.6) works fine on this model. He also scaled it to 50% and got a nice, fast printing, single wall print!Category: Decor

Grumpy Ol Vet Printing

Cross Light BoxModeled in Fusion 360&nbsp;I included two different back plates in the 3mf file. The first has two holes and is for LED lights that are to be soldered in using an on/off switch, a DC power jack, and an AC adapter. That's how I build my light boxes. The switch hole is 8.2mm x 13.5mm. The DC power jack hole is 8mm. The materials I use for this are listed below. The second plate has a single generic hole 8mm x 16mm to be used with whichever lights you prefer. I chose not to include a hanging hole on this model as I've provided a base for it to sit on instead. A third back plate with no holes is provided in the raw files section as an STL, should you want to make your own hole(s) for it.&nbsp;Please beware of “fast” profiles being added to a lot of my models. The one added to this model is actually slower than my original by about an hour and a half.&nbsp;Feel free to use this as you see fit. Please don't sell the stl or 3mf files as I would like to keep them open and free. If you would like to sell the actual model, that's fine too, but I would ask that you consider buying me a coffee or something.
