Bio
I'm in my late 50s, new to the hobby, and oddly eager to see if I can conceive and design things in which other people might find some utility.
I'm also apparently not afraid of run-on sentences with tortuous structure to avoid ending with a preposition.

I always liked tabletop lighters, but since I don't have Seth Rogan money (he sells branded lighters on his website) I made my own. Hope you enjoy it!

This, admittedly, is a pretty bespoke solution.
The little piece that my patio door security bar locks into broke. I modeled a new one, it works, and I figured I may as well share it just on the off chance that someone else might need it one day.
No articulations, no tiny sculpture of The Rock on top, just a small, functional print.

Made a compact, two phone charging stand. The only assembly required is adding the charging pucks, which of course are not 3D printed. And removing supports, but they pop off pretty cleanly in PLA. Hope you get some use out of it.

There are apparently a huge number of people who quilt as a hobby, and in some cases a profession. This is a binding jig for 2 1/2 inch binding strips. My wife assures me it is very helpful in quilting. She's pretty smart, so I have to take her word for it.

I'm actually pretty pleased with the daisy design.
Printed in PLA, both on an A1 without an AMS for the single color and on an A1 with AMS Lite for the two color daisy. I needed supports to make the magnet holes print cleanly. And glue to hold in the magnets, which were a gift from the fine folks at Bambu Lab during their Black Friday event.
Enjoy!

In contrast to the weird story I tell in the model description, the truth was simply that my wife wanted a drain board for the scrub daddy sponge because it was just kinda gross. So, being new to 3D modeling, I over-built the thing. But I like it, and it does what it's supposed to, so why not share?

This is my first post and my first shared model. I'm just getting into 3D printing over the past few months and learning CAD mostly to prove to myself that I'm not too old to learn new a new skill.
I put up the apparently mandatory Skadis peg board over my new 3D printing workspace, and thought it would be nice if i could easily display some photos along the top. So I made these minimalist stands to support photo frames. I hope you try them and they come in handy for you, too.
