One mace to rule them all?&nbsp;While there are a few adaptations of Sauron&#39;s mace scattered around the internet, I didn&#39;t necessary feel those were complete (no patterning), nor were they optimized well enough for printing and assembly (required internal structuring; a lot of post-processing). Therefore, I set out to model my own version from scratch that satisfied my own desired for a show piece. What I have here is a model designed entirely my me in fusion. I hope you enjoy it.&nbsp;This model consists of 21 pieces and 8 connectors to create a model that is ~46 inches long and can weigh upwards of 2kg. &nbsp;Printing Tips<ol><li>For my own print, I went with a silk filament because I hate post processing. While some parts can probably be printed flat, I have designed them to all be printed vertically. If using silk pla, I highly suggest to print all parts in the same orientation as that will give the best looking outcome. </li><li>I only own a P1S and have optimized this to print using most of the vertical space of that sized printer. If you have a smaller printer, I do apologize, but there are likely some spots where you can use the slicer to make parts smaller.</li><li>Any support I used were slim tree supports. I have uploaded my print profiles that I used which include manual tree supports. Threads, pattering, and small overhangs (like the handle rings) should not require any support. </li><li>I highly suggest to print the longer thread of the Lower Handle (Upper) piece facing up. This piece will be a weak point as it connects the lower handle to the rest of the mace. If that thread is printed down it will be supported and will be a weaker junction. I also suggest to use multiple bottom and top layers so this piece is strong.</li><li>Because the blades are optimized to be printed vertically, they have the pegs that will require support. Be sure to clean these supports well as the pegs being too large may effect final fitment. </li><li>Silk filament can give weird banding when cooling rate are different, so, if using silk filament, it may be a good idea to print each piece separately. This is what I did to ensure good consistency in the finish.</li><li>This print can probably use anywhere from 1kg all the way to 2kg of filament. Regardless, I highly suggest to make the lower handle sections either much more robust than the upper or, ideally, fully walled. My print profiles would culminate in a mace that weights about 1.7kg. </li></ol>Assembly Tips<ol><li>Assembly should be rather straight forward. I have attached pictures of the fusion model exploded into sections so as to be able to follow how to assemble. I suggest to assemble from the bottom to the top. I also suggest doing each section as a dry fitment before gluing everything together. After gluing any section, I suggest letting it cure for 24 hours before gluing attaching sections. </li><li>The threading has been given an ample offset, so these pieces should thread together easily. Thread each of the them together in the correct order dry and them take them apart and add a few drops of CA glue to the threads. Let these cure overnight. </li><li>For the upper handle section, Use the connector and CA glue to put the lower and upper sections together. Let cure 24 hours. </li><li>After both the lower and upper handle sections have cured, screw the lower handle section into the upper handle section. Use CA glue to bind these permanently. This will be a weakest point on the mace, so be careful. </li><li>Connect the upper and lower pike pieces using the large connector and CA glue. Let these cure 24 hours.</li><li>Using the smaller connector, connect the handle to the pike section. Fit this up with CA glue and let cure.</li><li>Dry fit each of the upper and lower blade sections into their respective positions in the pike. If these don&#39;t go in with no more than a little effort, ensure all support material has been removed. For blade assembly what worked best for me was:<ol><li>Add few drops of CA glue into each of the pike holes</li><li>Glue the blade connector into the bottom blade</li><li>Add glue to the top of the connector and place the top blade onto the lower blade and connector (this should give a few seconds to pull them apart when placing them into the pike holes). </li><li>Place the lower blade partway in to its pike hole</li><li>Place the upper blade partway into its pike hole</li><li>Press both the lower and upper blades all the way into their holes--this may require some wiggling and effort</li><li>Hold the upper and lower sections together vertically while pressing the entire thing toward the pike. Hold this for several seconds until glue sets. Then let cure fully before moving on to the next blade.</li></ol></li></ol>&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Batman and Superman logos as a dimensional mosaic wall hanging.&nbsp;Note: the Batman logo is set up as 5-color prints. If you have a 4-color AMS, you have two options:A) Change the color of the red section to dark gray.B) Swap out a filament roll mid-print. For example, you want to print the “Batman” plate. Load all colors but dark gray onto the AMS. Tell the slicer to print the dark gray sections in red. Once the actual red is done printing, swap it out for dark gray.&nbsp;I printed all of these with Polymaker PLA Pro Metallic.&nbsp;Note: I wanted them as big as possible, so yes they print over the initial filament trace. It won&#39;t hurt anything, but you can always scale yours down a little and reposition.&nbsp;Thanks to @Fatalchaos25 for the Superman print image.

THIS IS NOT ENTIRELY 3D PRINTED….. Which is obvious to some…. lol….. This is a cabinet I designed and built for dry storage of PLA, PETG, ABS, or TPU. It uses a dehumidifier and desiccant to keep the ambient humidity to below 40%. Which is fine for these materials. I've included a STEP file of the entire cabinet to get dimensions from, along with the 3d printed parts. I used metal conduit for the spool rods, standard cabinet hinges(not the round pocket European style), door gasket and plexi for the doors. I've listed below the relivant parts.&nbsp;**The model has the door latches as well. These were 3d printed and use a RC Car suspension spring. Just something I had lying around. These could easily be modified to work with a different size spring. &nbsp;Note: Maker World has a limit for how long it allows for slicing of Print Profiles before it gives up on verification. The Level 7 model exceeds that time limits (it takes about 8 minutes to slice on a modern PC). To get around this (beta?) limitation, Print Profiles for the base of the .16mm Pyramid and Level 6 Pyramid models have been uploaded instead. For the actual Level 7 Sierpinkski Pyramid, download appropriate .3mf file from the Raw Files section.<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/507170/2023-09-28_7d9dc5642ec5c.png"> All versions slice properly, and the non-A1 versions have been printed successfully.&nbsp;HistoryAfter having no luck slicing an existing level 7 Sierpinski fractal pyramid, I generated my own using OpenSCAD. OpenSCAD took nearly a day to generate a level 6 pyramid, so I almost gave up until I found there was an experimental Fast CSG option. It turns out a fractal pyramid is well suited to the new option and is at least 10x faster than the standard render option.&nbsp;In addition to the raw STL, some .3MF project files are included because it can be difficult to properly slice such a complex object in vase mode.Two 3MF (big_pyr_1_6 and big_pyr_2_0) are (almost) at the maximum bed size for the Bambu X1C/P1P. big_pyr_2_0 uses .2mm layer height which will take 28 hours to print using 374g of filament. While big_pyr_1_6 uses .16mm layers, is larger, and will take 40 hours to print using 446g of filament.The A1_2_4, A1_2_0, and A1_1_6 files are scaled to the fit the A1 bed size (<180mm) using 0.24mm, 0.20mm, and 0.16mm layer heights respectively. A1_2_4 will take ~17 hours, A1_2_0 ~21 hours, and A1_1_6 ~25 hours.&nbsp;The base_notch.3mf Print Profile is meant for the big_pyr_1_6_Bambu.3mf print. It is the maximum size that can fit on the X1/P1 print bed (without removing the filament cutter), and you should disable the calibration pattern for the print. The prime lines will overlap the model.<h4>Slicing Tips</h4>It can be difficult to successfully slice such a complex vase mode print. The difference between this<figure class="image image_resized" style="width:365.984px;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/425623/rich_content/f1ecce08-d7cb-45fb-b0c1-c62be23c24db/thumbs/cover/800x539/jpg/slice_42.webp"></figure>&nbsp;and this<figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/425623/rich_content/d08f3b22-6d4a-4a2e-ad7a-c32564b6a6b8/thumbs/cover/800x749/jpg/slice_40.webp"></figure>is adjusting the Line Widths by only 0.02mm.The method that gave me the most success with slicing was to scale the model to a precise height based on the layer height and the number of cells.Each cell is a pyramid. This Level 7 Sierpinski Pyramid is 128 cells tall because Level 7 => 2^7 = 128. To resolve each pyramid cell, you would probably want at least 5 layers. The more layers, the better resolved each cell will be. To find the height for the model simply multiply 128 x Layer Height x # cell layers. The maxed size Bambu print uses128 x 0.16mm x 8 = 163.84mm heightThat scales the base to the Bambu's max bed size without entering the “reserved” areas for the cutting tool or the prime lines.The slightly smaller version that takes 12 hours less to print uses .2mm lines so:128 x 0.2mm x 6 = 153.6mmFor these sizes, an Extrusion Width/Line Width is set to 0.42mm.&nbsp;Other print settings that needed to be changed were 0 bottom layers and setting the layer height for the first layer to be the same as the rest. Since my filament lamp received a lot of feedback stating it looked like an Oreo, I figured I might as well make an Oreo Lamp! This lamp was designed to work with the LED Lamp Kit sold by Bambu.&nbsp;Size 120 x 120 x 37mm, included a Benchy for reference&nbsp;12/8 Update: <ol><li>Added a rounded top to give a more accurate representation of an Oreo. </li><li>Added a thin wall version of the creme to allow for a brighter lamp.</li><li>Modified the bottom to reduce the stress on the wire</li></ol>*I will keep all old files in case you want a different version.*

I remixed Ronald Cauldillo's excellent step van model into a mail truck. I leave these in my mailbox for the letter carrier at Christmas. Consists of 13 stl's. Can be printed all at once, or the body and the tires/windows separately. I like to print the black parts separately to minimize color bleed and filament changes. It's designed for multi-color printers, but can be printed all one color. Minimal supports are required for the body. I've included a .3MF for Bambu Studio with my print and support settings and labelled the tires and windows with left/right text. Tires are affixed with a drop of CA glue. I was able to snap fit the windows without any glue. Model in pics printed at 200%, but you can make it any size.

These are quite small kits and print super quick so be sure to really churn 'em out, fitting easily inside Christmas cards! They can either stand freely or be hung up, with loops to rope them together.
