I've recently started practicing HEMA with one of my country's medieval armed guilds. It's been a thrill, and even simply looking for the materials to properly protect myself during sparring has been a very exciting process. Because I wasn't fully satisfied with some of the offerings out there, I figured I'd try out making a design that I felt fit me well. This went through several iterations and a ton of testing, but this one seems to be a definitive design.
