Looking for a classy door sign that&#39;s both fun and practical? It features a clever print-in-place holder with a sliding mechanism and various inserts that can easily be swapped out to suit your needs.   Right now, it&#39;s all about the bathroom – making sure private things stay private and nobody gets surprised when the door is opened.But I&#39;m expanding the range of inserts to include cool options for your office, the kids&#39; gaming hideout, and more in the very near future.Got another idea for a new insert? Drop me a line – I&#39;m all ears for your creative suggestions!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The holder has the following dimensions: Width: 150mm Height: 70mm (75mm with the top grip of the inserts) Thickness: 15mm (about 19mm with the grip of the slider)For individuals preferring a more permanent fixture than double-sided tape, the design includes two holes located behind the inserts. These holes are 4.5mm in diameter.&nbsp; Some printing notes:<ul><li>I&#39;ve used tree support because it&#39;s much easier to remove in this print than the classic support. I&#39;ve tried both. Due to it it relies a bit on bridging capabilities, which shouldn&#39;t be an issue with a Bambu or other dialed in printer and filament.</li><li>The slider has a hidden and very thin support that&#39;s already implemented in the design. The first time you move the slider it might need some little force, but at that point the support of it will break by design and release the slider fully. I&#39;ve used plenty of tolerances in my design so it should move very easily after that first sliding action. I did multiple test prints in PLA and that design approach worked always without an issue.</li><li>My inserts are designed in a way that you can easily change the colors of the elements in the Bambu Studio objects tab. Want to change the background color of one side of an insert or do multi-color lettering or graphics? It&#39;s no problem.</li><li>In all of my test prints so far I had only one time a not so perfect line on the slider - this was the only time i tried to print it with “matte” filament. I&#39;ve tried common Amazon Neodym Magnets at that size and 3 were enough to keep the holder and insert in place (tested on a fridge).  The holes for the magnets have a diameter of 10.2mm. So there is a little tolerance, which was in my test still small enough to give the magnets a nice friction fit.  <img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000379944/design/2024-03-31_37e823e14a84f.jpg"></li></ul>07.04.2024Improved the support design further to avoid layer shift that could occur on the print in place slider with more brittle filaments (like old filament or matte PLA). To do this I&#39;ve changed two things:  <ol><li>Added tree support under the handle. It&#39;s still easy to remove and doesn&#39;t leave big marks, but it increases the stability during printing a lot. Especially for people using a bed slinger.</li><li>added very thin “fins” at the back of the slider into the design to make it more stable in the Y-Axis during printing. They&#39;re very subtle and easily break free when it&#39;s moved the first time, but help with the print process.  <img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000379944/design/2024-04-07_bda146c26413a.png"> I&#39;ve test printed the updated classic and magnet version with my most brittle filament I had (Sunlu Matte White) and had no issues with it.</li></ol> 09.04.2024I have added a printplate with just the handle part of the inserts. This way you can easily create your own inserts with the Makerworld “Make my Sign” and then attach the handle in the slicer.  To do this open “<a target="_blank" href="https://makerworld.com/en/makerlab/makeMySign" rel="nofollow noopener">Make My Sign</a>” and follow the next steps to get the right size. Play around with the colors, text, shape or add svg as you want.  <img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000379944/design/2024-04-09_6644bde4e143.png">&nbsp;&nbsp;I highly recommend to select “Face down”. This way it will have the right orientation when you add it in the next step to the slicer and having the text / icons facing down usually also results in a better front finish of the insert<figure class="image"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/model/DSM00000000379944/design/2024-04-09_7b902d727b372.png"></figure>Then click dowload and save the .3mf file.   Next step - Bambu Studio: Open the latest version of my file. Original model shared under GNU Public License v3.0 (I picked the closest equivalent here)&nbsp;This is a small device to prevent dust/etc from collecting in your USB-C devices.&nbsp;If, like me, you have a phone with USB-C and keep it in your pocket or bag AND your clothes/bag are mode from checks notes fabric… then it's very likely that your USB-C port has been filling up with lint and related debris. There are many posts online about how this lint buildup can prevent you from charging your device over time, and of course loads of products and printable things for getting that lint out of the USB-C port after it has built up… THIS thing here is to prevent the lint from building up in the first place.&nbsp;I printed mine in TPEE (similar to TPU, it's a flexible filament). I suspect PLA would work just fine, but i'm all out of ‘normal’ filaments over here (I blame my P1P, it prints way too fast so instead of waiting for prints to finish i've spent more time starting the ‘next’ print over and over… fun times!). &nbsp;I printed this in under 9 minutes. It fits great!! My first attempt used 'classic' walls' and didn't fit nearly so well… so if you download the raw STL and slice it yourself be sure to use Arachne Walls as the result is a significantly better fit.

So I only have metal pegboards - some are metric (25 x 25 x 6mm) and some are imperial (25.4 x 25.4 x 6.35mm). The pegs I got from the hardware store were horrible - sometimes they didn't stay in when taking the tools out and wobbled around a lot - no fun to use.So I designed these to work with both metric and imperial pegboards. I went through at least 10 iterations to get to this, hope you enjoy, they will clip into place with a satisfying click.Sugest printing with PETG/ASA/ABS - at least 1mm of walls/top/bottom, 40% triangular infill.

I love the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.printables.com/de/model/258431-rugged-box-parametric" rel="nofollow noopener">Rugged Box</a>, but sometimes I need a quicker (and less solid) solution. So I designed this box as quick alternative. It uses something like a piano hinge. The bottom part and lid are printed in separate parts and have to be connected with a piece of filament.I also designed a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.printables.com/de/model/533230-parametric-box-print-in-place-fusion-360" rel="nofollow noopener">similar box as print-in-place</a>. You need <a target="_blank" href="https://www.autodesk.de/products/fusion-360/" rel="nofollow noopener">Autodesk Fusion 360</a> to set the parameters. It's free for private use.I recommend to print the little testBox (with a .4 nozzle) to see if tolerances and nozzle width work for you (see print instructions below). It's about 14g of filament. If it doesn't work you can edit the parameters “tolerance” and “nozzle”.<h3>Customization</h3>For those who are not familiar with Fusion here are very detailed instructions (see also the uploaded screenshots):Open Parametric Box.f3d in Fusion 360.<ol><li>Click Modify …</li><li>… and Change Parameters</li><li>In the following dialog you can edit the parameters. If the recalculation of the model fails just use the old value. Probably some other values need to be decreased (e.g. radius). Please use only reasonable values.</li><li>Click File …</li><li>… and 3D Print</li><li>In the following dialog click on Select …</li><li>… and chose the Box in the browser on the left</li><li>Refinement should be high. Click OK and select a destination to export your box.</li><li>Repeat the 3D Print command …</li><li>… for the Lid</li></ol><h4>Hints:</h4><ul><li>I made a lot of tests with the tolerance. 0.2mm worked perfect. But you can increase it if the result is too hard to open and close. </li><li>By default all corner radiuses are equal. You can edit each one of them if you scroll down. </li></ul>&nbsp;<h3>Print Instructions</h3><ul><li>3 walls</li><li>Arachne Mode (or at least “detect thin walls”) !</li><li>no support</li><li>Bigger boxes need a brim!</li></ul>PLA with .2mm layer height normally works fine. Also tested with ASA and PETG which are better for very small boxes. PC also worked great.&nbsp;<h3>Assembly</h3>Press the lid on the bottom part of the box and push some filament into the hinge holes. Pull it out and cut it about 2mm shorter than needed. Reinsert it. No glue needed because I designed the opening a bit smaller so it should stay inside. &nbsp;Four position driver bit attachment for Dewalt drill driver. Designed to be snapped onto the rear grills on the back of the Dewalt 20v Max XR drill driver. I needed a handy bin near my printer, so I've designed super simple hanger and a bin.Very useful if you have a printer next to ALEX and just want to quickly throw purge lines, or supports in.&nbsp;Material doesn't matter, PLA will work just fine. It doesn't need to be super strong either, the print profile attached is 2 walls and 10% infill.&nbsp;

OverviewAn ethereal and light statue that shows love in artish style.&nbsp;I found that picture on internet as a tattoo on somebody arm and I had to bring it to the world of 3d printing. I recreated and changed it a bit so that it could be printed and presented properly. I don&#39;t know who is original author of this drawing.&nbsp;InstructionPrint and put in bottom base to achieve vertical pose, no glue is needed.To print it, there is need good adhesion to bed.Upper end of sculpture is bond with initial printer starter extrusion. Now you want more? More bits to carry with you? Ok, I hear you - here is the solution to a problem you never had: The Pencil Style Bit Driver fo 5 Bits&nbsp;This bit driver can carry five standard bits. One at the tip and four more inside. With a handy clip and a length of 145mm it fits in most of your pockets.&nbsp;Print everything with a layer height of 0.16mm, 3 walls, 5 tops, 4 bottoms and 8% gyroid infill. Support is not necessary.I recommend using a brim on the large middle section, that will improve the bed adhesion. Another recommendation is to keep the layer height of 0.16mm. You can go smaller but a larger layer height can result in non-working threads. The overhangs are a little bit delicate. To optimize overhangs you can set the layer time to 7 or more seconds. This will help to cool the layers before the next layer is printed on top of them. The optional gaskets should be printed in TPU. Use a smaller layer height (e.g. 0.12mm), no brim, 2 walls, 3 tops & bottoms, no infill and no support.&nbsp;For assembly just add five standard bits. I testet serveral bits and they all had a tight fit. If necessary you can add one Ø5x2mm magnet - there is a hole for it inside the tip of the driver. The clip can be pressed into the cap. This is a very tight press-fit, you have to push hard. You can down-scale the clip to 99% if you think the press-fit is too tight. Screw the cap and the rear plug on the driver. The threads are similar to M12 but extra tight so they do not come open in your pocket.&nbsp;The gaskets are optional and can help to prevent unintentional opening of the threads. In line with the Christmas theme, we have designed an interactive toy - Santa in his sleigh, sliding down the snowy ramps.&nbsp;In terms of the files, the .3mf (snowy version) I have sliced at 88% as it is the largest that would fit on my print bed. While I printed without supports and experienced a bit of stringing that I just cut away, there is also a supports included and snow-free version. The Santa I also sliced at 85% so he would fit into my ramp.&nbsp;While he may flip sometimes while sliding down, it's a fun toy to see who can get him to slide all the way to the bottom.&nbsp;While you're here, feel free to check out my latest upload - a marble run construction kit, a great toy for kids!

I designed this solo cup dispenser for my kids to have easy access to cups when they need them. I designed one for the classic SOLO Cup as well as “The Big Red Cup” that is available at Kirkland in bulk. The SOLO Cup version will fit all cups that have a 92mm diameter rim and the Big Red Cup version will fit cups that have a 100mm diameter rim. This is an easy, quick print and is easily mounted with 2 screws using the holes in the back.
