After days of testing and a few close escape attempts I have refined my 3D printed live catch mousetrap. Chew proof upgrades, wire reinforced trigger plate and safety pins for secure transport. Caught 8 mice in my attic and now it is mouse free. Let's see how long it stays that way. There is also a version with a more sensitive trigger plate which I wasn't able to try (no mice left). I would be happy to get feedback from others testing it.
