#Caution Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so please let me know if there's more approprate forums, etc. I have a BQ Cyrogrip plate, and print several brands of filament. Often, Bambu, Esun, Eryone, etc... We all see companies reccomending only printing with specific brands of filament (Usually thier own), but as we all know, most filaments are fine to be used in most cases, and, for the most part, we all happily print our models with freedom to chose brands. Most understand the cost vs quality vs reliabilty compromise. What I didnt anticipate was Red Esun PLA+ filament staining the BQ Cryogrip plate! The plate doesnt seem to be damaged, and I have printed several times on it since. But if you're like me and have had a plate for 4 hours before putting a permanent stain on it, you'll be disapointed too! So, I thought I would post here to give caution to anyone printing freely, against manufacturers advice to only use certain products. There are some cases where it probably does matter.(Edited)
