After a 10 year break from 3d printing, recently picked up a Bambu lab p2s. LONG shout from the $200 kit I bought back in the day. I'm amazed by what can be done now and appreciative of all designers out there. Designed 1 or 2 of my own but I'm no engineer. I'm enjoying experimenting and learning.

printed out half a dozen of these and handed them to friends who needed a laugh during a 'sucky' situation. they thought it hilarious and wanted one for work and home, and for friends..

made one for my wife's mantle of bird decor, a teacher friend saw it and said 'oh I'd love 5 of those for my students, to paint, it would be so pretty.' so I printed another 5 for her class. She insisted on paying but I refused. They print so fast and nice, with so little filament, it was an easy way to bless a teacher with a heart of teaching.

my first petg print, I tried 1 in pla and 1 in petg, the pla one is fine, but I did crack it when installing to my desk, just a tiny bit. so I added 2mm to the size gap and printed in petg, PERFECT, so simple, and out of the way to keep my various headsets. love it!

this project inspired me to finally fix my ortur to a piece of plywood and my octagonal bed, so that things stopped shifting around, went ahead and added a camera to it, and that meant I needed to modify your 25mm to 10mm to get the right ZERO height. LOVE this, I was able to throw away a bucket of various height wood blocks, and now my laser setup has been given new life, it's much more accurate and with these blocks and the camera, I'm wasting tons less material, and have eliminated the laser JITTER from outline burns.

no photo yet, still painting, but LOVE this. I glued mine in place however to make it on my display shelf of 'stuff I loved as a kid and still do.'
