I don’t personally own a boat or run Scotty or Folbe gear, but a good buddy of mine does—and if you fish, you know how dialed-in those setups can get.
He asked if I could come up with something to help—simple, strong, and actually practical to use. I wanted to create a tool that gives a solid grip and extra leverage without overcomplicating things or risking damage to the mount. Something you could toss in your boat or tackle box and rely on when you need it.

Amazing design! I do think it could be even better if some parts were optimized to require fewer supports. For example, the wheels were pretty tough to clean up — maybe they could be split into two pieces that get glued together? Some of the AMS-colored sections also seem like they could be separate pieces, since printing them as one part with AMS uses a lot of extra filament.
I shouldn’t complain too much because the overall project was a lot of fun for my kid, but I do wish there were more non-AMS options. Painting is an alternative, but the results weren’t as clean for me.
