The EZ-Z Luber is an EaZy way to lubricate the Z-axis screw of your printer. This handy tool screws onto the end of a Super Lube tube, allowing for precise and clean application without getting grease on your hands.&nbsp;To use, simply replace the cap on the Super Lube tube with the EZ-Z Luber. Straddle the sides of each Z-axis screw with the applicator and turn it clockwise. The EZ-Z Luber hugs the screw, and when you squeeze the tube, lubricant is applied directly to all sides of the screw simultaneously. Move it up and down along the screw to cover the entire length. You’ll be finished in no time.&nbsp;There are two versions of the EZ-Z Luber. One version includes feet, allowing it to stand up on its own when not being used. This is a model of my own brain, created from an MRI scan. It includes the cortex, cerebellum, brain stem, and corpus callosum. I also made a stand for nicely displaying my brain like a museum exhibit.&nbsp;I also cleaned up the model for better printing, including reducing the internal geometry for better printing with less filament. If you want to read more about how I created this, you can <a target="_blank" href="https://docs.juliaebert.com/projects/3d-print-brain" rel="nofollow noopener">read the details on my website</a>.<h3>Printing Instructions</h3>These files are high-resolution, and therefore pretty large. It might take the slicer a bit of time to uncompress the 3MF files and slice the model. Also, most of this model prints on supports, so good bed adhesion is essential. The support design comes from <a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/FilamentFrenzy/status/1464984048162455554/photo/1" rel="nofollow noopener">this Filament Frenzy tweet.</a> (This is an improvement on the support design that I used for the version in the photos.)&nbsp;Warning: These take a long time to slice because of the complexity of the models and supports.<h4>Full-sized brain, in halves</h4>This model is designed to be printed in halves, with supports, and each half has a pause to insert magnets that will hold the brain hemispheres together. The included 3MF files should have these pauses and supports already included. Printing through Bambu Studio/Bambu Handy will pause correctly, but not when printing through Octoprint (in that case, you should print directly from SD card/USB drive.)&nbsp;The magnet holes are cylindrical: 5.3mm(D) x 3.3mm(H), designed for 34 5x3mm magnets (<a target="_blank" href="https://smile.amazon.com/Magnets-Crafts-Strong-Whiteboard-Kitchen/dp/B09GLWMN7N/" rel="nofollow noopener">like these</a>). The holes are included as a slicer modifier, so if you want different sized magnets, you can remove these and add your own.&nbsp;When inserting the magnets, I recommend adding a drop of super glue into the holes before inserting the magnets, to keep them from rattling around in the finished print. Also, be sure to check the orientation of the magnets when you insert them, or the brain halves will pop apart instead of sticking together!&nbsp;I recommend printing this on a smooth surface (eg, not a textured/satin sheet) so that the halves mate together nicely.<h4>Brain stand</h4>The stand prints with no supports, and you should be able to just set the brain into it when finished. I used wood PLA filament to make it feel like a really display stand.<h4>Full brain (no split or magnets)</h4>I have also included a file with the whole brain as a single piece, with no split and no magnet holes. If you want to print a solid, scaled down model of the brain, use this model. 50% scale is nice for fitting in the palm of your hand.

DIY Ribbon Gift Bows!&nbsp;This project comes on multiple plates - be sure to print all plates!&nbsp;Three different sizes are included: Large: 220mm wide arms, 130mm wide bow - only printable on X1 or P1 series. Prints on 3 plates.Medium: 160mm wide arms, 100mm wide bow - printable on X1, P1 and A1 series. Prints on 2 plates for X1 and P1 or 3 plates for A1.Small: 110mm wide arms, 70mm wide bow - printable on X1, P1 and A1 series. Prints on 2 plates for X1 and P1 or 3 plates for A1.&nbsp;A bow tying helper tool is included in this project - I recommend printing this in order to assist with the assembly.&nbsp;Instructions:You will have printed the following items:<ul><li>Large arms</li><li>Medium arms</li><li>Small arms</li><li>Centre loop</li><li>2 x ribbon ends</li><li>Pin</li><li>C-Clip</li></ul><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/191933/2023-11-20_87a39baa9ec68.jpg">&nbsp;To begin, you'll need the centre loop (rectangle with 2 holes), the pin and the helper tool:<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/191933/2023-11-20_55b899fff0daf.jpg">&nbsp;Start by pushing the pin through the back of the centre loop (the side the pin is sticking through will be the visible side for most pieces):<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/191933/2023-11-20_445a1ac3af846.jpg">&nbsp;Next, make a loop (with the front face of the piece facing outwards) and push the pin through the back of the second hole:<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/191933/2023-11-20_14ed90d802eba.jpg">&nbsp;Now take the smallest set of arms, and push the pin through the back of it (depicted from front and back below):<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/191933/2023-11-20_174de65df614c.jpg"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/191933/2023-11-20_7997ce4527f7a.jpg">&nbsp;Now, with the pin pointed at you, twist one of the arms around as shown below, and push the pin through the back of the hole. It is important to pay attention to the direction the arm is being twisted below - all twists will be in the same direction:<img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/191933/2023-11-20_8194e5c19523f.jpg"><img src="https://makerworld.bblmw.com/makerworld/draft/191933/2023-11-20_402b0ee126be2.jpg">&nbsp;Repeat the twist on the remaining arms, working your way around. I made an extender for my 7.2mm diameter crayola colored pencils so I could extend their usefulness and life. You could scale the model in your slicer to accommodate other various diameter pencils if needed.
