Turn simple flowers into living art 🌸 I designed this interactive flower board to make decorating more fun and creative. The idea is simple: insert real flower stems into the 3mm holes and create your own composition. Every arrangement is unique depending on what you find outside 🌿 It’s a mix between a vase and a creative activity — super minimal, but really satisfying to play with. Would love to see your own flower creations if you print it! 🌼 #Newmodel

The Draconic Lumen Cipher In forgotten coastal workshops, where light and shadow were studied as sacred forces, this instrument was said to test the patience of seekers. At first glance, it appears to be a simple carved cylinder, its surface scaled like a dragon’s hide, its crown marked with an ancient sigil. But when a light is placed above it, something awakens. Points of fire emerge beside it, scattered and meaningless… until one begins to follow them in order. Only then does the hidden symbol reveal itself. No electronics. No lenses. Only geometry, shadow, and intention. This object is an exploration of Old World Magic — a relic from a time when engineering and mysticism were indistinguishable. #Contests #Hostedbycreator #Printoldworldmagic

Getting Ready for the New MakerWorld Rules
Getting Ready for the New MakerWorld Rules
MakerWorld recently updated its rules for model thumbnails: ❌ AI-generated images are now forbidden ⚠️ Photomontages are not recommended⏳ You have less than 3 months to update your models and stay compliant. If you missed the notification, here’s the official post: https://makerworld.com/community/post/1447793My tips for clean, consistent, and compliant model photos 👇1️⃣ Keep a consistent setup I highly recommend using the same photo setup for models that belong to the same collection. The goal is to build a strong visual identity so your models are instantly recognizable. You can still create variations, for example by changing light colors, to help differentiate models within a collection.2️⃣ Lighting is everything Good lighting makes a huge difference.Personally, I use two LED lights with different colors to add depth and life to the photo:One neutral light (white or warm white)One accent color of your choice on the opposite sideThis creates soft gradients and helps highlight shapes and details.3️⃣ Use real prints (clean ones!) Make sure the printed model is clean:Remove stringingTrim small artifactsWipe dustReal, honest photos always look better than over-edited images.4️⃣ Simple backgrounds work best Neutral backgrounds (white, gray, soft gradients) keep the focus on the model. Avoid clutter, your model should be the star of the photo.5️⃣ Camera angle matters Try a slightly angled view instead of a flat front shot. Showing depth instantly makes the model more readable as a thumbnail. These rules may feel restrictive at first, but they actually help keep MakerWorld clean, fair, and consistent for everyone.Hope this helps, feel free to share your own photo tips below! 🙌

Prototype – E-Ink Crypto Price Display 💹 Just wrapped up the first version of a small E-Ink display for BTC (and other crypto prices). ✅ Software is already working fine 🎨 Next step: design a nicer enclosure ➕ Maybe add buttons, plus red/green LEDs for price movement For now it’s just a prototype, but I’m excited to refine it further. 👉 Has anyone here tried similar E-Ink projects? Would love to hear your ideas for improving the design!

Looking for Tips – Twist’n’Cube Elastic I’ve been working on the Twist’n’Cube, a fun articulated fidget toy made of 40 PLA cubes linked together. It bends, twists, and keeps your hands busy. Right now, I’m using a TPU filament to connect the cubes internally. It works, but I’d love something more durable and efficient than TPU for long-term use. 👉 Do you have any suggestions for better elastic materials or clever alternatives? Model is already live if you want to try it out!

AuroraFrame – A Touch of Light for Your Setup ✨ I’ve been experimenting with WLED projects using ESP32, and here’s one of my latest designs: the AuroraFrame. 🟡 Hexagonal frame, easy to 3D print in black & white PLA (no AMS needed, just a pause for filament change). 🌈 Inside: an ARGB LED strip (WS2814 or similar) + Wemos D1 Mini for WiFi control. 🔧 A bit of soldering, a few cables, and you’re ready to enjoy customizable light effects. ➡️ The full model is available now on MakerWorld — designed and printed by me. I’m curious: do you also build WLED + ESP32 projects? If yes, what’s the coolest one you’ve made so far? Would love to see your ideas!

GyroSlide – Spin & Slide Fidget Just finished a fun little project — the GyroSlide! It’s a stress-relief toy that combines smooth spinning with a controlled sliding motion. I printed it in PLA and made three sizes… but I think the medium one feels just right. Curious to hear what you think — any ideas for tweaks or improvements? 👉 Model is live now if you want to give it a try! #Newmodel

Tiny Guys... Hidden Everywhere 😅 I made these little characters and secretly hid them all around my parents’ house. Inside drawers, behind books, on shelves… Let's just say they're not alone anymore. Please don’t tell them 😇 👉 Model is up on MakerWorld if you want to start your own stealth invasion!

My Mini Maker Quest: From A1 Mini to X1C Hey everyone! I’ve been passionate about 3D printing for almost 10 years, and in November 2024, I finally took the plunge with my first machine: an A1 Mini (no AMS, 0.4 and 0.2 mm hot ends). Since then, I’ve been hooked—mainly designing useful tools, some decorative pieces (2D wall art), and of course, a few fidgets. My printer sits right on my desk. I model everything in Fusion 360, and from time to time, I experiment with photogrammetry using my phone—just for fun. Today, I’m kicking off a little personal challenge: 👉 Upgrading from my A1 Mini to an X1 Carbon, powered only by the models I share here on MakerWorld! Why the X1C? For its material versatility and to finally try AMS multi-color printing—opening up all kinds of new project ideas. This isn’t just a personal challenge—it’s a way to connect more with the community. Since June, I’ve been regularly publishing models, and I plan to keep sharing more: decor, useful objects, fidgets... Here’s a look at my current setup: #Rate My Setup If you find this journey interesting, feel free to check out my models or drop your thoughts below. I’m always happy to hear from fellow makers! See you soon for the next step!
