They make a good fidget toy with, I don't know, some spatial and geometric learning benefit? I'm not a psychologist. &nbsp;Print as many as you like or have magnets for. I've discovered some fun assemblies that utilize 24 pieces. 8 was a fun starting point.&nbsp;5mm Magnets Required5mm spherical magnets should be inserted in sockets on each of the 11 faces. They should be snapped in after the print is complete. I just press them in against a tabletop. This model is specifically built for 5mm spherical magnets and the tolerances are not forgiving. Sorry I don't have a link to sources to purchase magnets. Evidently enough kids ingested such magnets that they are now difficult to find on major online retail sites. Shop hard.&nbsp;The tolerances on the magnet sockets are subject to variation depending on print materials, print environment, the magnets you source, etc. Don't be surprised if you need to tune your settings or scale the objects. I've included a test block with a top, bottom, and side sockets to assist in such tuning.&nbsp;The main .3MF file is a slice with 8 units, printed by object, in 4 colors utilizing the Bambu AMS. The .step file is a single unit.&nbsp;The reason for spherical magnets as opposed to other shapes is that free rotation of the magnets is required for them to reorient themselves according to the polarity of an adjacent magnet. Without free rotation, magnets may repel, pushing your pieces apart. &nbsp;The intention of the octahedron socket cutouts is to ensure clearances in the socket for the magnet's rotation. They are designed and oriented to eliminate bridges and overhangs that may affect clearance. Most effective is if opposite corners of the socket are aligned vertically or horizontally only, therefore it's advised to print with the square “bottom” face down as provided.&nbsp;I intend to publish models with additional socket sizes, so comment if you are trying to make this work with other magnets sizes. Additionally plan to add version sans sockets, and also a model of the octahedron socket cutout. &nbsp;Happy to direct anyone interested to these models in Onshape if they want to build their own scaled to their own spec, or use the socket for anything they like.&nbsp;

The left bookend shows Spider-Man sticking on a flat wall and throwing a web to the front wall. The right bookend shows the front wall with a hole that is fastened with cobwebs. When you put them together, it creates a stunning effect of Spider-Man swinging across the books. The Spider-Man model is inspired by the suit he wears in the game and the pose is similar to the <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2423996" rel="nofollow">SPIDER-MAN POSED FOR FRIDGE MAGNET</a> by <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/Masterclip" rel="nofollow">Masterclip</a>. The brick wall model was created from scratch. These bookends are easy to print and I sepparated the main throwing web to avoid excessive use of supports. You will need supports for some parts, especially Spider-Man’s arms, you maybe need something for the detailed webs on the brick wall. I designed these to give away on an upcoming Disney cruise I'm taking with my family. They're little miniature ice cream bars, each measuring just under 3" (long including the stick). &nbsp;Colors used: Bambu Lab Basic Brown, Bambu Lab Matte Desert Tan, Bambu Lab Basic Jade White&nbsp;The print is designed with each part printed separately and then snap / glued together, but a painted single object profile is included as well. They are designed with a space for a ½ inch diameter ceramic magnet, but you can easily adjust the size of the magnet using Bambu Desktop (See photo). Simply go into the “Objects” view, select the cylinder in the assembly, and scale it to the size of your magnet. Then move it down so it's touching the build plate / bottom of the model. &nbsp;There are three different print profiles:<ul><li>Each object on a separate plate. This is what you want to use if you're making multiple at once, as you can easily select the plate and then increase the quantity in the Bambu Handy app. Up to 9 “chocolate” magnets will fit on one plate of an X1C / P1S / A1</li><li>All three objects on the same plate, with “print by object” enabled. If you have an AMS this allows you to print everything in one pass with minimal waste</li><li>A single painted object. As-is this has a fair amount of waste due to the color changing. However you can fit up to 7 on one plate and printing more at once will waste less filament. There is roughly 20g of waste when printing 1, but only 12 g of waste when printing 7 because more of the flushed material can go to infill.</li></ul>&nbsp;Commercial licensing for all of my designs is available over at Thangs. This is dragon scale chainmail, a print in place multi-use flexible fabric. This chainmail can be used from anything from a satisfying fidget toy to an integral part of you cosplay or costumes. This model is strong so feel free to play till your hearts content or weather it to deataile a costume. This model can be colored via bambu studio. For best results use a small layer height, but .2 works just fine. I have included multiple models in the raw model files including a single piece so you can make your own custom shapes. Everything but the single chainmail link stl file is reduced so it slices fast so beware of using high resolution shapes with this model (before this model was redeuced at a 20x20 chainmail it was over 34 million triangles). I've exported both colors as separate STLs. The profile I uploaded includes a number of adjustments to make sure the first layer as no gaps (ie-Arachne, Wall Transitioning Threshold, etc.).
