For this I used Bambu Glow PLA for the crystal, but I didn't have brown for the base. So since this base is more like rocks than the weird Tiberium cow pie base (and I don't mind the change) I painted it with a gray with a green sort of transition from around the crystal like it's growing out of it. For the light I picked up a bunch of different kinds from aliexpress and tried them out since they were each under $2. The one that worked the best was a color changing verison with a little remote. It heats up the least, lets me turn it on and off remotely (kind of), and can change colors and pulse if I want it to be a little different. The "glow" of the PLA is a little underutilized here, but I guess I could also put it in a window if I didn't want to have it plugged in. Great design though and it's probably one of the coolest things I've made so far.
