This is great! It fits our US market Scotch tape refills, and once glued on the cutter works well. The tolerance is tight though, it seems to me the OD of the center spool holder could have been sized with a bit more wiggle room to accommodate variations in roll
size. For example, when I took a roll
of scotch tape off one of the clear plastic scotch dispensers, that roll would fit over the holder but it would not spin. A fresh refill roll out of the box fit properly. I assume the rolls on the dispensers and the refill rolls are made on different production lines so they vary slightly. Maybe an additional mm down in diameter on the center holder and an additional mm wider in width would do it.
Otherwise the model is excellent, my daughter uses a lot of tape and appreciates having her own dispenser that is pink.

These printed perfectly in PLA basic on my X1C. The keystones went in a bit tight but didn’t require modification. Thanks for sharing this model and saving me a few bucks.

These look really nice in Bambu PLA Basic Gold! The sheen matches a waffle cone quite well on the basic settings in this profile. The kids like them… now for more “flavors”.

I won 3rd place in a pumpkin carving contest and used this scoop to clean out the inside of my pumpkin. It worked great! Very well designed.

These are great! My junior rockhound loves his new backpack keychain.
Printed on an X1C- my only recommendation would be to optimize the layer thicknesses to have a bit less purge waste. Otherwise, Bravo!

This model is 👍🏻. I printed in PLA on my X1C.
First, the print in place lever/trigger piece has a lot of resistance in the joint. It seems to get worse when discs are loaded.
Second, there are a few places where the disc carriage seems to bind in its track. Mine binds when it is returning and needs to be pushed back into place. I think it’s racking a bit and catching on one of the back edge of the rearmost rectangular slot on the side. This causes the hook that pulls the disc forward to only return ~95% and need a forceful push to return 100% and allow a new disc to drop.
Lastly, when I give that little push to return the hook, the force frequently pops the body of the launcher past the angled pins in the wrist mount. This can also happen if clothing catches on the launcher, for example if it’s hidden under a long sleeve shirt, and you pull the sleeve back to revel the launcher. Perhaps a more permanent mount instead of that compliant mechanism would stand up to play better.

I had a slight issue with some layer adhesion but it didn’t cause the print to fail. The support is clever. This was a learning experience for me, thanks for the work you’ve put into it.

These came out perfect in a Translucent Amber PETG I got on Amazon. I’m using them to help my son develop his fine motor skills. Robust design, quick print, thanks for sharing.

I use this every day. Great print on my X1C in PLA.
Possible improvements:
It rattles a lot during calibrations which makes the printer noisier.
The clip that retains the replaceable blades is a bit loose on mine, and maybe could be designed to fit a bit closer. Fortunately the design does not allow them to come loose during scraping actions so the annoyance is minimal.

Printed for my 2 year old in Bambu Green PLA on our X1C. This is a very durable design, which is precisely what it needs to be for the target market. Thank you for sharing.

Printed in Bambu Hot Pink PLA on an X1C. the quality is very nice and it was one of my first prints. It’s sturdy and holds up to play. I found some Pink mason’s line that matches very well for a strap.
One possible improvement would be to offset the pipes, so it is easier to blow on them one at a time. In the grid pattern they are hard to differentiate by feel with your lips, and it is tough to blow on them without blowing on 2 at a time. Thanks for the effort!

My kid is happy, but I ran into some issues with lack of support on the inside of the lower lip of the whale. Printed on an X1C with Turquoise PLA Basic.
Print issue aside, it has been more durable than I expected in the hinge area. This is in the hands of the 3 kids 5 year old and under in my house, so well done on that aspect! Also, you clearly understand that young boys want toys that can consume many, many things at the same time. The large volume is perfect for that. Nom nom nom.

This was clearly designed by a thoughtful engineer.
This print came out perfectly on my X1C in PLA. I appreciated the extra effort that kept the filament cost down, avoided excessive supports under the tray by printing risers separately, and had a low print time. The design allows airflow around the bottom of the desiccant which stands out from other similar models. Additionally the desiccant and hygrometer are not in contact which should give a good reading for the humidity of the filament vs just the dessicant saturation.
It goes without saying the fit is very nice in the Amazon 4L cereal boxes.

Great design. Printed on an x1c with Bambu Matte PLA. There was lots of purge, but it was worth it for this intricate model that impresses adults and kids alike. We’ll be looking for more of your models for future prints.

This fit the Lutron Maestro switch in our Lego room. The kids love it. As might be expected, the clutch power is low, so even though Lego parts interface with the stud pattern perfectly, they don’t really stick. This isn’t really a problem in a vertical orientation but I thought it worth mentioning for others. I might try to reprint it in ABS and see if that improves clutch. If I do I’ll update this.

This was a very easy print. The PopTop fits my cans perfectly.
I managed to get my hands on the exact rubber bands the designer used, and they fit perfectly.
Overall this is a well-tuned print and a very useful item, thanks @runswithscssors!
