Just purchased a new electric oven and didn't think there would be a problem with the knobs being on the front now that my kids are older. Within the first couple of days one of the burners was turned on by accident when someone leaned over it, then it happened later the same week, but was on for hours. We had purchased a new wooden cover to protect the glass. We got luck that it was on very low, but was a fire waiting to happen. Hope this helps others.
