I have taken to 3D printing/Laser engraving like a fish to water. Ok, more like a star fish lol. I have an older 3D printer (3yo) that the A1 is replacing. As much as I love working on my Laser engraver I just want my printer to print. I got tired of working on the printer more than printing stuff. Plus my old printer is a little (a lot) slow. I'm not into making my own 3D files but I do want to learn how to use Blender or something like it, to make my own print files. We shall see...
These printed perfectly and I learned to close them first before opening to prevent the hinge from breaking.

Their ok, they don't seem to click and stay closed. I noticed that 2 of them didn't print the complete part that gets clicked into the C.

I really like this as a cool design, so I tried printing again, this time with the extender. Please explain what type of paper towel roll this was modeled from. I get it if the extra-large roll doesn't fit a design because a person only buys the small rolls, so they design for the smaller roll. But I have never seen a roll that is the height of your original design, even with the 1 extender, and I have to print 2 more extenders. I put this next to a paper towel roll (from Wal-Mart from Bounty). I think people need to know that some of them will need at least 3 extenders to make this the length (or height, however you measure it) to fit regular old store-bought paper towels.

Too big for what I originally printed it for but definitely can be repurposed. Great design!

This is the best bookmark I've printed on MakerWorld hands down. All the kids love them. It's one of the only ones that I don't have a problem with adhesion to the cool plates.

I printed this 2 times with a 0.4mm nozzle because the first one had an error after it had already put down the black but it finished but the edges were all messed up. So I printed again but the white is not enough layers or something because to me they look pink, not white with red. Then I saw the message about using the 0.2mm nozzle.
I tried 6 times to print with a 0.2mm nozzle and for reasons beyond my understanding, it just kept putting blank rectangles on my print bed. I watched the last time and the filament was just not flowing out (the AMS reel not moving at all) but when I quit the print job and hit the extruder out button, it flowed just fine so I believe it had something to do with the print itself. My next print job has started and is printing fine with that same 0.2mm nozzle. I will try the lighter trick on the edges with the stringing to see if that makes it at least look better.
