This design was inspired by trips to Europe with my bike packed into soft cases, which always feels risky. You can read more about my experiences that led to Axle Folie's creation here: https://www.teknecycling.com/collection/post-carry-co-transfer-case-travel-flexibly

This solution was inspired by my experience with numerous soft cases for travelling to Europe from Canada with my bike. I was always worried my bike would get damaged, and the rear triangle was a 'soft-spot', even in the best option on the market, the Post Carry Co. Transfer Case. I got a printer in Jan 2025 and set my sights on designing a solution that solved a few issues at once. It was a steep learning curve in Fusion 360; Axle Folie was born!

I got a perfect print in PLA, zero warping. love the design, it’s exactly what I was going for.

Great design! I printed a couple for friends with Tailfin racks. It is vital to print on its side, or else it’s likely to crack when flexed open.

I really like this for storing straps for outdoor stuff in a drawer. Printed perfectly in PLA.

printed very well in PLA on the diagonal as recommended. Some ratchets won’t fit, as they need to not have protrusions like the direction switch. Check for clearance before you print.
