One of the best models! I've wanted to upgrade the light for quite a while but 5v leds seemed too dim to my liking so I've done a little bit of modding :I've added a buck converter to convert the 24v of the printer (or i could've used 24v leds) to 12v then routed the cable trough the already existing cable path and then i wanted to control the light like the old one so that required a mosfet(irfz44n) 100k pull-down rezistor (10k was too much) and a logic converter (3v3 to 5v) why you ask? Well i had to hack the control board. Removed the transistor near the led connector from the board and hijacked the 3v3 signal to control my mos(you need the logic cnv because 3v3 it's a little too low for the mos and you cannot just use old wires from the led because the switching happens on the low side (ask me how i know 😂)) so yeah today I've learned that the bambulab printers run on esp32 as hosts which is interesting
