After months of running to and from the wet lab back to the laser, I decided it was high time to print a secure sample location that I could connect to our optical table. Now I Keep our samples locked tight, but close by, a time and sanity saver!

I had a close encounter with a colleague (accidentally) snapping our fiber optic cable at the junction point to our detector. In an effort to mitigate damage to the cables over time, I printed 3 of these covers. At 80 cents a cover, it was no question to print them versus a $90 replacement. May it save your cables as well!
