Since 1999, I have run a company that develops, manufactures, and sells electronics for patient safety in healthcare (for example, fall prevention). We regularly need to create tools for production, but we also make our own enclosures for specific products, which allows us to be very flexible for our customers—especially for quantities where an injection mold isn’t cost-effective. This is why I taught myself 3D design. I’m still learning every day, but it’s incredibly fun and addictive.
