I tried to design a trebuchet that was easy to print and build and operate. Most desktop trebuchets use a small rope or string for the sling that can work well, but be frustrating to use. I designed this trebuchet to use US nickels as the counterweight. They are easily available, dense and have a high packing efficiency when stacked.
