I bought my first 3D printer (P1P) a couple years ago just for model building (up to 4 now). Now that I have learned some very basic modeling skills, I enjoy creating too! Even learning something as simple as designing a sign or a display can help you or others with sales, especially if you can create a theme or story behind those items you sell. What I like most about 3D printing, is it allows me to be as creative as I set my mind to it, because I know I'll never have the skills to draw, and as my wife reminds me, I'll also never be able to sing. So now all she gets is 3D printed flowers!
