I have previously spent many years working in Design Technology in a secondary school, where as a department we tried to convince the senior leaders of the potential uses and benefits of 3D printers for the department. Unfortunately we were never actually able to convince them enough to spend out on one while I was there. I did get to hone my 3D modelling skills in Solid Works though.
