Although not exactly a "vault" per se, I am reminded of a small disc-like toy from my childhood that my father gave me. It had a similar design to what I have made, and only large enough to hold a small brass coin. Boy, that toy gave me a hard time as a kid, and I did all the prying and wrenching I could until he showed me the trick—give the whole thing a good spin and watch as the centrifugal force unlocked many brass pins from the lid. This is my attempt to recreate that toy for vault usage.

Acquired a Pelican Storm Case iM2720, and after thorough usage, one of the latches inevitably snapped after closing a bit too hard. Lost my proof of purchase as my case is many years old, so I am unable to order replacements for free. Took many failed iterations and messing around with the tolerances, but I finally made a working model after about a week of testing. My workplace utilizes these cases, which was my main reason for creating this in the first place. Enjoy the replacement Latch!
