Solid. I ended up going with another model that segments the main frame and the dessicant box, so I can print the frame in PLA and the box in ASA, and just chuck it in my dryer when necessary. But for regular use, this is honestly the best style and design I think.

As others have said, there is a gap, but there's a gap whether you use these or not. At least these reduce the crossover. And I like the idea of having silica in it to create a buffer, so the heaters don't have to run as often. I printed this in ASA and it came out great. Slight warping on one base, so the lids don't fit as snugly as they should, but they do fit. I could reprint with a brim or something but honestly it's fine.

Excellent! Exactly what I needed. Threads on the spout didn't print quite as nicely as I'd hope at the start, so threading it on is a little tricky, but that's probably a me thing. Given that I won't use it a ton, and it's totally workable, it's no problem. Thank you!

Excellent. I did turn off the brims because I knew I wouldn't need them - it printed just fine by itself. If you have any kind of adhesion issues broadly you should definitely leave them on.

I'm giving this 5 stars - it's a great design and solves a major issue. But I will make a few criticisms. The tolerances are extremely tight, even on the hinge and especially on the mated part. I had a very hard time inserting the filament all the way. I got it through every part but the last, and frankly that's "good enough". It works fine, but it's so hard with so many joints. Continued in comments.

#2024 Annual Summary Got my X1C (which was my first 3d printer) and I'm absolutely in love. It's so effortless to produce great stuff, and yet is still an entry point into more advanced and very deep 3d printing knowledge. It lets you focus more on the creative and fun aspects, rather than the technical ones, if that's your desire.

Honestly I loved https://makerworld.com/en/@rocket1372 (Rocket1372)'s radius gauges and wanted to be able to store them in a Gridfinity base. This is my first model and it's not elegant, but it works. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.
