After numerous times of having random pets or people wander in and out of our bathroom, often leaving the door open, I designed a door lock for a sliding barn door, which will now grant privacy to those who desire it.

The motivation behind this lock was our new barn door bathroom door, which our dogs quickly learned they could open just by sliding it open with their noses. This was causing constant in-and-out while you were in the bathroom, and dogs being dogs, didn't close the door behind themselves.
