DARK SCI-FI INSPIRED COMPONENT TRAY

This is my very first project on MakerWorld! ​This desk organizer tray is an original model that I designed entirely in CAD. The design is inspired by futuristic and sci-fi lines, created to tidy up your workstation or your entryway. ​ Dimensions & Scalability ​The original dimensions are 17.5 cm x 12 cm, making this model easily printable even on compact beds like the Bambu Lab A1 Mini. However, you can scale the size directly in Bambu Studio according to your needs. It’s perfect for organizing small items like pens, scissors, USB drives, and keys, or simply used as an everyday valet tray. ​ Printing Options ​ Multicolor (AMS): The file is already set up for multicolor printing, highlighting the contrasting details against the dark base. Colors can be easily customized directly in Bambu Studio, allowing you to use your favorite combinations. ​ Single Color: It can be printed with a single filament and then finished and hand-painted to your liking. ​ Supports & Optimization ​The model is optimized to minimize the use of supports: the main structure sits entirely on the build plate, and only small supports are needed to sustain the large slot/loop of the tray. Note on the Test Print in the Photos ​In the pictures of my test print, you might notice a sub-optimal finish on the yellow details. This was due to a mistake on my part while loading the filaments: I accidentally loaded a spool of yellow PETG instead of PLA, which was then extruded at temperatures too low for that material (unfortunately, I only realized it when it was too late!). ​Rest assured, the file is correct and fully tested. If you use the proper profiles and filaments, your print will turn out flawless. ​This tray is just the first piece of a full line of Sci-Fi style desk accessories. Ho sempre voluto creare qualcosa di mio senza scopiazzare. Per me la stampa 3D è proprio questo: la libertà di realizzare da soli ciò che si desidera, come lo si immagina. Da appassionato di fantascienza, ho voluto iniziare con progetti semplici ma utili a tutti. Oggi il setup della scrivania è diventato un elemento importante nella quotidianità di ognuno, ed è da qui che è nata l'idea di questo vassoio, il primo di una linea di accessori.

Hello everyone. Science fiction and its fans find a place here on makerworld? I'm designing a series of completely original spaceship models, without copying any well-known brands (TV series, movies, comics, etc.). They will be designs that will then be placed in a much broader context. The idea will be to create these display models (assembleable) for a more demanding audience and unique piece (perhaps divided into parts according to size). Salve a tutti. La fantascienza e i suoi appassionati trovano posto qui su makerworld? sto progettando una serie di modelli di astronavi completamente originali, senza copiare alcun marchio noto (serie tv, film, comics etc.). Saranno design che verranno inseriti poi in un contesto molto più ampio. l'idea sarà quella di creare questi modelli da esposizione (assemblabili) per un pubblico più esigente e pezzo unico (magari diviso in parti in base alla grandezza).
