Sacred Crucifix Easter Egg Diorama – Day vs Night ✝️🥚
For this Easter design, I wanted to create something that works both as a sculptural display and a soft night light.
The model is designed as an ornate Easter egg diorama, opening to reveal a detailed Crucifixion scene inside. During the day, it looks like a decorative Easter sculpture with floral ornaments and a classic egg form.
But the atmosphere completely changes at night.
The base is designed to hold a small LED light, which illuminates the interior scene from below. When the light turns on, the rays behind the crucifix glow softly and create a dramatic sacred atmosphere.
The contrast between daylight display and night illumination was one of the main ideas behind this design.

Personally, I think the night version really brings the scene to life.
